We use reflection type lenses to avoid laser damages to eyes. Every glasses is tested to meet testing standards so that customers can use the safety glasses without worries.
Q: How many types of protective glasses are there? What is the difference？
A: Two types in total, absorption and reflection type.
Absorptive goggle: The laser absorber was added to lens material
Reflective goggle: The surface of the lens was covered with a reflective film.
Q: How often to replace the protective goggle?
A: Absorptive goggle: Normally replace in 1-3 years, depending on actual use.
Reflective goggle: Normally replace in 1-2 years. If the reflective film is scratched, it can no longer be used and needs to be replaced.
Q: What is the optical density?
A: Used to indicate the percentage of laser light of a specific wavelength that can pass. through the laser goggles.
For Example:
OD1+: This means that 10% of the laser light of a certain wavelength can pass through the laser goggles.
The same principle is as follows.
OD2+: 1% ; OD3+: 0.1%; OD4+: 0.01%; OD5+: 0.001%; OD6+: 0.0001%; OD7+: 0.00001%

A: Used to indicate the percentage of visible light that passes through the laser goggles.
